Diocesan Ultreya! October 30
In Spanish, the expression “Ultreya!” is a rousing exhortation of encouragement that means “Onward!” Within the Cursillo community, “ultreya” can also refer to a geographical region comprised of numerous parishes, much like a deanery. A third meaning of “ultreya” refers to a convocation of all the regional ultreyas for the following purposes:
1) to welcome recent attendees of a Cursillo Weekend to the the diocesan Cursillo community 2) to encourage each other by sharing how God has helped individuals on their faith journey 3) to reunite with brothers and sisters in Christ from around the diocese 4) to worship Jesus Christ
The next Diocesan Ultreya will take place at St. Paul’s, Summerville on Saturday, October 30 from 9:00-2:30. If you are curious to learn more about Cursillo, this is a wonderful opportunity to come and see! All are welcome.
