Youth Ministry Intern, The Church of the Good Shepherd, Charleston

Organist/Music Director, Trinity, Edisto

Trinity Church on Edisto Island is looking for an Organist/Music Director to begin as soon as possible. Requirements include playing for and directing the Adult Choir and occasionally our Handbell Choir for our traditional service at 8:00 am and raising up, leading, and playing in a band for our 10:00 am blended service. The adult choir and band each require a 1-hour rehearsal per week from September-May (the adult choir and band take a break during the months of June-August).This is a part-time hourly position. A degree in music and three to five years’ experience is preferred though all interested candidates will be considered. The pay range is $20,000 – $30,000 commensurate with ability, education and experience. Extra travel allowance and continuing education is provided. Our historically registered sanctuary built in 1881 boasts a Three Manual Allen MDS-60 Organ and a Yamaha Clavinova piano CVP 405 with a graded hammer keyboard. We also have a Technics piano in our choir room, along with a set of Three Octave Malmark Handbells and a Kawai concert baby grand piano in our parish hall.
