The Rt. Rev. Mark J. Lawrence, Bishop of South Carolina
Mark Joseph Lawrence was consecrated the Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of South Carolina on January 26, 2008. Bishop Lawrence was born in Bakersfield, California and educated at California State University, Bakersfield and Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry, Pittsburgh. He has also received honorary degrees from Nashotah House and Sewanee. He has ministered in a wide variety of parish settings from suburban church plant, rural mission, inner city church, to downtown parish in California and Pennsylvania. Known for being a dedicated pastor-teacher, Mark also served, among many other capacities on the Commission on Ministry, the Standing Committee, and the Board of Examining Chaplains, and Rural Dean. He also served as a deputy to the General Conventions of 2003 and 2006. He was a member of the House of Bishops for the 2009 and 2012 General Conventions. He has published articles on devotional and ecclesial concerns in various periodicals. Mark has been married to Allison Kathleen Taylor since 1973. They have five children and 12 grandchildren.

The Rev. Canon James B. Lewis, Canon to the Ordinary, The Anglican Diocese of South Carolina
The Rev. Jim Lewis was called to serve as Canon to the Ordinary in the Anglican Diocese of South Carolina in 2009. He assists with clergy deployment and oversees clergy salaries as well as the ordination process in the Diocese. In addition to being a liaison to clergy in administrative matters, he assists the Bishop in his work with individual parishes, helping to support the larger work of the Episcopal Office in fulfilling the Diocesan Vision. Lewis holds degrees from the University of the South at Sewanee, Virginia Tech and Seabury-Western Seminary in Evanston, Illinois. He and his wife Libby have three children.

The Rev. Dr. Kendall S. Harmon, Canon Theologian, The Anglican Diocese of South Carolina
Since January 2002, Dr. Harmon has been serving as Canon Theologian of the Diocese of South as well as Assistant Rector of Christ/Saint Paul’s on Yonges Island. Early in 2009 Kendall was appointed as the Anglican Communion Development Director in the diocese, where he also now assists with media relations. As part of his ministry he posts, edits and hosts the Titusonenine blog, a popular site for articles and discussion on religion, theology and culture. He holds degrees from Bowdoin College, Regent College, Vancouver, B.C., and Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry. In 1993 he was awarded his D.Phil. from Oxford University. He is married to Elizabeth, a nurse practitioner, and they have three children.
