Learning How to Pray with M&Ms
Objectives: In this session our objective is is to learn the four parts of prayer (ACTS): Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving and Supplication; Identify the four parts in the Lord’s Prayer and memorize the Lord’s Prayer.
Materials:
- 1 small bag of M&Ms (per grandchild)
- 1 small container (per grandchild)
- One sheet of poster board
- Markers

Going Deeper
Is there a wrong way to pray?
Objectives: God doesn’t care when, where or what we pray about. Furthermore, He isn’t interested in the volume, length or how big the words are that we use. He just wants to have a conversation with us!
Materials:
- Broom
- 2 Balloons per grandchild (Note: balloons are choking hazards; therefore, we recommend that an adult blow up the balloons.
- Timer
