Preparing for Hurricane Florence

Hurricane Florence

As all are aware, hurricane Florence is anticipated to make landfall along the North Carolina / South Carolina coast in the next few days.  The Diocesan office will be closed on Tuesday, September 11 until further notice with the staff, who are able,  working remotely.

While the current track suggests the most likely landing right now is in the Wilmington area, the potential impact for all our congregations is significant.

The Diocesan website contains links to several resources that may be useful to you as you make your final preparations.  These include the  Parish Disaster Guidelines, a Parish Inventory, a Facility Windstorm Preparation Checklist and the 2018 South Carolina Hurricane Preparedness Guide.   Please reference these as needed as you make ready for Florence.

Should a claim need to be filed, or should a question regarding coverage arise, please note the Claims Contact Information sheet.
