The Daughters of the King, St. Elizabeth Chapter, is hosting a Lenten Quiet Day Retreat with Chelsea Hamshaw on Saturday, March 5, from 8:30 am-12:30 pm at Old St. Andrew’s Parish Church, Charleston.

Guests are encouraged to come at 8:30 a.m. for a continental breakfast. The program will begin at 9 a.m.

Chelsea is the wife of Father Jason Hamshaw, Rector of All Saints Florence and she is the daughter of Bishop Mark and Allison Lawrence, and the father of four boys: Ben, Mark, Simon, and Jack.

Chelsea will speak and sing on “Meeting God in the Psalms.” We will take breaks to contemplate the meaning of Lent and have a time of reflection. Please bring your Bible. A lunch of soup, sandwiches, dessert, and lemonade will be served at noon.

The cost is $10 to be paid at the door.
