God willing, Jason Varnadore, will be ordained to the transitional diaconate by Bishop David Bryan, of the Diocese of the Carolinas, at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at St. David’s, Cheraw.  Varnadore, who serves as the pastor of St. David’s grew up in Powdersville, SC, received his BA from North Greenville University in Linguistics and Christian Studies, where he met his wife, Jenna.  He received his MDiv from Beeson Divinity School of Samford University. Married seven years, the Varnadores have one daughter, River (4) and son, Jonas (1). Jason says he, “really looks forward to bonding with the other clergy in his deanery and this diocese and growing closer to and serving the people of St. David’s.”
