The Rev. David Barr will be ordained to the Sacred Order of Priests in Christ’s One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 2 p.m. at the Cathedral of St. Luke & St. Paul, Charleston.  Clergy are to wear red stoles.

David grew up in Sumter, South Carolina and came into the faith at the Church of the Holy Comforter. He currently lives in Charleston with his wife, Caroline, and is Scholar in Residence at the Cathedral Church of St. Luke and St. Paul. David has a BA in theology and English literature from Covenant College, an MA in theology and ethics from the University of Virginia, and is finishing a PhD in theology from the University of Toronto.
