The clergy of the Diocese will renew their vows on Thursday, March 22  at 11 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. Luke and St. Paul.

Clergy are to wear white stoles.

A Note to laity:  Though the service is primarily for the clergy, it is open to the public and the laity are encouraged to attend.  If you’re able, join us at the service. It’s a time to not only come alongside, pray for and encourage our clergy in their callings, but also a time to renew our own commitment to love, follow and serve Christ. Consider it part of your Lenten observance.  It’s a perfect lead-in to Holy Week.

Clergy are invited to bring labeled bottles of oil for both Chrism and Unction for the blessing at the conclusion of the service. There will also be additional bottles, available after the conclusion of the service, for those who are unable or forget to bring their own. Box lunches are available for those clergy who reserve them. (Note: Though the service is open to all, the lunch is for clergy only).

Barring good cause and due notification of the bishop, all clergy are expected to attend this service.
