The Rev. Stephen Scarff
(980) 202-1917
Stephen Scarff and his family relocated to Summerville from the north shore of Massachusetts in June of 2023. They are grateful and blessed to have landed in a loving and friendly place. Prior to his work in hospice chaplaincy, he served in parish ministry, worked in private independent schools and managed money for individuals and non-profits. He received his MA in Administration & Policy Studies in Education at McGill University, Montreal and his MDiv at Yale Divinity School where he also received a Diploma in Educational Leadership for Ministry. His C.T.M. and Anglican formation year was completed in Cambridge, England. While attached to King’s College, as a student chaplain, he deepened his love and appreciation of the Anglican choral tradition and on most Sundays during term, he could catch three evensong services. He is a DMin candidate in Pastoral Theology at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. When time allows, he looks forward to writing icons in the Russian Orthodox tradition and learning to fly-fish the coastal waters of South Carolina.
