The Rev. Marshall Huey is the 19th Rector of Old St. Andrew’s Parish Church in the West Ashley area of Charleston. Marshall has served at Old St. Andrew’s since 2006. He has two grown sons, Gordon and James, and was blessed to marry Barbara Rivers in 2017. Marshall previously served terms on the Diocesan Trustees, on the board of Camp St. Christopher, and the Board of Trustees at Sewanee. Marshall is a graduate of Duke University and Vanderbilt University Law School, and left his Charleston law firm practice in 1998 to enter seminary at Sewanee. Currently, Marshall serves on the Board of the Dominican Development Group and is passionate about long-term relational foreign mission. Marshall has been involved in mission work in the Dominican Republic since 2002, and Old St. Andrew’s has a strong missional relationship with San Jose Church in Boca Chica, Dominican Republic.
