Updated August 31, 2021: The Rev. Laura Bowman is a transitional deacon serving a six-month internship (at the request of Bishop Mark Lawrence) at Church of the Holy Cross, Sullivan's Island and Daniel Island. Laura's home parish is Grace Parish near Myrtle Beach which is very small - so as she serves at Holy Cross she'll be able to experience the breadth of large church ministry. God willing, Laura will be ordained to the priesthood in early 2022. Laura received her M.Div from Trinity School for Ministry. She is a widow and a retired PA State Trooper.
