For almost 30 years I have worked in the fields of ministry, teaching, leadership, and discipleship. In 2021 I became the founding rector of St. Barnabas Anglican Church in Newnan, Georgia. It was a privilege to lead that small group of people into a thriving church community with a permanent home! Prior to planting St. Barnabas, I served as rector of Church of the Outer Banks in North Carolina, associate priest at Truro Anglican Church in Fairfax, VA, and I served as a teacher and youth minister in Kentucky, and Georgia. My passion is to help lead others deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, so that they can experience the love of the Father and the power of the Holy Spirit in their lives now, and forever! Before entering full-time pastoral ministry, I taught art in public schools and coached various sports including cross country, football, and swimming. I am also the author and illustrator of The Nicene Creed Illustrated and Instructed for Kids and The Way of the Cross: A Family Devotion, resources designed to help families and churches pass on the historic Christian faith to the next generation. I earned a Doctor of Ministry and a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary, as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education from the University of Georgia. Above all, I consider my greatest blessing to be my family. My wife, Brandie, and I have been married since 1999, and together we are grateful for the the family he has given us!
