The Rev. Cn. Dr. Donnie McDaniel, Associate Rector, Old St. Andrew’s, Charleston The Reve. Canon Dr. Donnie McDaniel joined the staff at Old St. Andrews in August of 2019 after serving in the Diocese in both Charleston and Myrtle Beach. An avid learner, Donnie holds degrees from Charleston Southern, Southeastern Seminary and the University of Edinburgh. Donnie loves to share this knowledge with others in the numerous Bible studies and classes that he teaches at the Parish. Donnie is married to Shannon McDaniel and they have five children ranging from 18-5 years of age. In addition to serving in the Parish, Donnie and Shannon are also business owners in the community. They own Iron Bridge CrossFit where they fight chronic disease through the pursuit of wellness.
