The Rev. Zach Miller grew up as a member of St. John's, Johns Island. Through participation in the liturgy, serving as an acolyte, and attending youth group, he quickly grew to love both Christ and his Church. This love was nurtured through summers at Camp St. Christopher, where he began to sense a calling into ministry and served in various capacities through high school and college. Upon graduating from Clemson, he explored this sense of calling by interning at Holy Cross on Sullivan's Island for three years, serving in youth ministry, worship leading, and as a pastoral assistant. In 2017 Holy Cross affirmed his call and sent him to Beeson Divinity School. In 2020 he was ordained a priest at St. Helena's, where he served for two years as a part-time assistant to the rector and began serving on Diocesan Council. During this time, he also taught for three years at Holy Trinity Classical Christian School, teaching Old Testament, Latin, Greek, and Humane Letters. In 2023, he was called to serve as the Associate Rector at Trinity Myrtle Beach, where he currently serves. He also currently serves on the Board of Examining Chaplains for the Diocese.
