The Rev. Bill Riggs, Sr., by the grace of God, is blessed to be married to his wonderful wife Gail since 1967. With three adult children and four grandchildren, weekends are typically full of family, friends, backyard sun, fun, and games punctuated with good food, humor and fellowship. Bill entered ordained ministry 17 October 2020 following nine years of lay prison ministry initiated by a personal encounter with the transformational Power of the Holy Spirit while witnessing in His Name to the men at Lieber Correctional Institution (LCI). As a deacon, Bill looks forward to helping with the introduction of Kairos Prison Ministry International (KPMI) to Federal Prisons located in South Carolina while continuing to expand Christian and pre-GED educational opportunities at LCI as an assistant Chaplain. Now retired from a 35 year business career having served as the founder and president of W. R. Riggs & Associates, Inc. a South Carolina corporation offering engineering, design, and consultation services since 1985. As a graduate of Clemson University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), Bill is the recipient of both baccalaureate and advanced degrees in engineering.
