A message to ADOSC clergy and parish administrators from the Revd Joyce Harder, Convention Coordinator (Sent January 14, 2026)
We are looking forward to seeing you at the 2026 Diocesan Convention March 13-14, which will take place at the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes Resort in Myrtle Beach. The convention will begin with a Eucharist and Renewal of Clergy Vows at 4:00 pm on Friday at Trinity Church, Myrtle Beach and will end around noon on Saturday. Details will follow at a later date.
Following the Eucharist, a light social hour will take place at the resort. Friday dinner will be on your own, and scores of fabulous restaurants are within five miles of the resort. A continental breakfast and boxed lunch will be served on Saturday.
***THE CONVENTION REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS FEBRUARY 20th.***
If your annual meeting and elections will take place after February 20th, please go ahead and register your clergy and delegates by the February 20th deadline. Name the laity as Delegate 1, Delegate 2, Delegate 3, Delegate 4, and Alternate 1, Alternate 2, Alternate 3, Alternate 4. Use the Registrar’s contact information. We will add names later. (Alternates are not required but are recommended to ensure full representation.)
