The Diocesan Men’s Ministry Leadership Team met January 16, 2019, to celebrate the beginning of their 5th year of ministry in the Diocese and to make strategic plans for 2019.
“We were so honored to have Bishop Lawrence with us for our celebration and meeting,” said Jay Crouse, Diocesan Coordinator for Men’s Ministry.
“When Bishop Lawrence inaugurated our Diocesan Men’s Ministry in January 2015, bringing me on as Coordinator, we began with an almost blank piece of paper. Today, as you can tell from the ministry graphic, that blank piece of paper now displays a comprehensive men’s ministry structure, strategy and resources. The centerpiece and main focus of our ministry is, men and the church. It is within our churches, where an intentional men’s ministry is in place, that men’s lives are transformed and real formation occurs.
“We invite our clergy and men in our churches to join us in this big, holy, audacious adventure to equip our men to be tomorrow’s disciple makers.”
