Jim Huntley Named Cursillo Diocesan Lay Coordinator

Charleston – June 19, 2023: Jim Huntley will be serving as the new Diocesan Lay Coordinator for Anglican Fourth Day Cursillo. Jim and his wife Janet attend The Well by the Sea in Myrtle Beach and have been active in the Cursillo movement since 2005, both having served on several teams over the years and also as lay rectors. Jim is from Concord, NC and attended the University of North Carolina as well as the Gemological Institute of America. He and Janet owned a jewelry store in Myrtle Beach for 27 years and they are now retired and quite active in their church. It is his hope that during this time of transition after the pandemic that the Anglican Fourth Day Cursillo movement can be a powerful Spirit-filled way to help the Diocese move forward. Jim commented, “After being shut down due to the pandemic for a couple of years, the Cursillo movement has resumed.
