Death of the Rev. Linda Manuel

May 4, 1944 – February 15, 2022

Please keep the family and loved ones of the Rev. Linda Manuel in your prayers. Linda passed peacefully surrounded by her family at about 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 15, 2022, after a short illness. Arrangements are pending.

Linda was the founding Vicar of Grace Parish, North Myrtle Beach from its inception in 2013 until she and her husband moved out of the area in September of 2015. At Grace she “provided steady guidance and love, and kept us outwardly focused while helping us grow together as a close-knit Grace Parish Family,” says Deacon Laura Bowman.

Linda came to our diocese from the Diocese of Pittsburgh where she was ordained to the diaconate by Bishop Alden Hathaway on June 1, 1997 and to the priesthood by Bishop Bob Duncan on December 1,1997. She served on the diocesan staff working with small congregations under Bishop Bob Duncan. She moved her letter to the Anglican Diocese of South Carolina when she retired in September of 2008.
