Institution of The Rev. Dr. Joey Fitzgerald as Rector of Church of the Cross, Bluffton, September 2, 2026
Bishop Chip Edgar will institute and induct the Rev. Dr. Joey Fitzgerald as the fourth Rector of the Church of the Cross, Bluffton on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 6 p.m. The service will be held in the historic church building at 110 Calhoun Street in Bluffton. Windham Ordination, Sept. 3

Jubilate Deo Deadline, September 4

GrandCamp Weekend at OSA, Sept. 11-12, a Diocesan Event
Grandparents and grandchildren in grades 1–5 from across the Diocese are invited to a GrandCamp Weekend at Old St. Andrew’s, Charleston.  The weekend includes worship and devotion, crafts, games, and a special Blessing Ceremony. Share stories, create keepsakes, and enjoy activities that help every generation grow in faith and friendship. Learn more and register.

Diocesan Men’s Hike, October 8-11
Men, come one, come all to our fall Men’s Hike based out of Oconee State Park. We’ll be offering both King’s Hike and backpacking/ thru-hiking options. The Women of Saint James Anglican Church on James Island invite you to join them for their Fall Market, from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. October 17. Come find baked goods, books, children’s toys, craft supplies, framed artwork, furniture, housewares, lamps & linens, jewelry, plants and more! Multi-Arts Retreat at St. Helena’s, October 23-24, 2026
Calling all songwriters, musicians, and lyricists and those who are curious and want to join from the Beaufort, SC area! United Adoration is inviting you to a very special multi-art retreat taking place October 23-24, 2026, designed for you to create, collaborate, and build community with other creators. Many of us shy away from being called a “creative” or an “artist” but United Adoration believe that all of God’s people are creatives, and their retreats are for YOU!
