First Steps for Sponsoring Clergy

Rectors and Vicars are on the front line during the incipient stages of an aspirant’s discernment process.  These clergy members hold a series of meetings with the aspirant to discuss the nature and validity of the aspirant’s call. By clicking this link, the Rector or Vicar then follows a series of prescribed preliminary steps to initiate the discernment process at the diocesan level. Once those steps have been completed, Canon Jim Lewis and Deacon Joyce Harder will assume oversight of the process and guidance of the aspirant.
