SUMMARY:Be Still & Know God Contemplative Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Are you longing to get away and get quiet so that you might become more aware of the presence of God? Then please join us for this contemplative retreat led by the Rev. Elizabeth Bumpas. This weekend retreat does not include a lot of teaching…it’s simply about creating space for silence and solitude to connect with the Lord. The group will gather together in the mornings and evenings for Scripture meditation and there is a long period of silence (no talking) on Saturday afternoon. Come walk the beach or hike in the beautiful maritime forest as you devote an entire weekend to seeking the face of God. Nothing pleases Him more. The retreat will end Sunday after lunch with Holy Communion. There are only 10 spaces available. Learn more.

SUMMARY:Cursillo Weekend
DESCRIPTION:The Three-Day Cursillo Weekend\nThe Cursillo weekend brings together a diverse group of Anglicans to share the richness of many modes of worship and to broaden each one’s appreciation for our Church. Lay people conduct the weekend with two or three members of the clergy functioning as spiritual advisors. Cursillo presumes that those who attend are already well grounded in the faith. It is not intended to be a conversion experience but an enriching and deepening of what is already there. It often provides new insights into our faith as well as fostering ministry among lay people. \nThe weekend begins Thursday evening spent in the Chapel with meditations\, discussions\, and Compline. Then blessed silence is kept until after the worship on Friday morning. After breakfast participants are assigned to table groups for the weekend. The three days are filled with talks and group discussions with emphasis on the doctrine of Grace\, the Sacraments\, and the great Cursillo tripod: Piety\, Study\, and Action. Plus there is fellowship\, singing\, good food\, and time for privacy\, meditation\, prayer\, and walks. Eucharist is celebrated each day. \n  \nLearn more.

SUMMARY:Always Forward Church Planting Conference
DESCRIPTION:The Always Forward Conference\, which will be held September 30 – October 2 in Greensboro\, NC\,  provides a unique opportunity to learn more about the Conviction\, Culture and Constructs of Church Planting while also providing an environment in which we\, as a Diocese\, can meet together to implement what we learn.
\nCursillo #190\, July 14-17\, 2022 \nDiocesan Ultreya July 30\, 2022 \nCursillo #191\, October 13-16\, 2022 \nDiocesan Ultreya\, October 29\, 2022 \n  \nLearn more.
